Use the MIDI BreakOut Box to effectively extend the number of presets in your synth by layering multiple instruments and remapping MIDI channels. The MIDI BreakOut Box takes input from one or more MIDI channels and reroutes it to one or more different channels, optionally adjusting the pitch. This is a way to combine instrument presets and mix them for live performances. For example, you can play a Piano on MIDI channel 1 but have the notes duplicated with Strings on MIDI channel 2 playing an octave lower. The BreakOut Box also makes it possible to map different notes on the keyboard to different output channels so you can create custom keyboard splits. Create your own custom presets to save up to 100 different configurations! *** PLEASE NOTE: This App REQUIRES a MIDI hardware interface and will not work without one! You will need to use a compliant CoreMIDI interface - please check first to make sure you use an interface designed for iOS.
